Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One year previous food service experience preferred
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in reading, writing and mathematical computation
- Ability to speak English sufficiently to perform job responsibilities
- Ability to work a cash register
- Ability to lift and transport up to 35 pounds
- Ability to attend mandatory inservice programs
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Collects cash and charge tender
- Accurately inputs transactions into register
- Maintains adequate change in drawer through exchanges with main cashier
- Completes cash count reconciliation after each meal period
- Drops deposit into drop safe in the office
- Prepares cafeteria survey for meal service in conjunction with food service workers
- Assists customers as needed to provide exceptional service
- Coordinates daily cafeteria procedures as necessary
- Secures and opens doors and equipment at off/on meal times
- Displays daily pricing on menu boards
- Wipes tables in dining room and replenishes salt, pepper and sugar before meals
- Maintains portion of cafeteria condiments
- Brews coffee for daily services
- Maintains excellent customer service
- Maintains work area clean and organized
- Attends mandatory inservice programs and education sessions
