Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Ability to work holidays, weekends and various shifts
- Ability to carry over 15 pounds above shoulder
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills
- Ability to follow instructions and company policies
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Job Qualifications
- Cash handling experience preferred
- Customer service experience preferred
- Demonstrates ability to interact with public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
- Ability to bend, twist and stand to perform normal job functions
- Ability to lift and push objects weighing over 10 pounds
- Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- Comfortable conversing with customers
Job Duties
- Greet and seat customers as they enter the restaurant
- Have a warm, friendly and courteous smile with a desire to aid customers in any way possible
- Follow cash handling procedures according to company policies throughout the shift
- Problem solve by understanding the issue, apologizing, reacting accordingly and notifying management of the solution
- Possess attention to detail
- Work holidays, weekends, day or night shifts
- Understand food safety and handling according to health requirements
- Be knowledgeable and operate the POS system
- Be attentive to customers and receive take-out orders accurately ensuring customer satisfaction
- Ensure all cost control methods are utilized to maintain restaurant profitability
- Be professional at all times
- Carry over 15 pounds above shoulder (food trays)
- Follow proper phone etiquette according to company policies
- Practice cleaning as you go
- Assist service staff when available
- Ability to organize and prioritize daily work according to business demands
- Interpret, explain and apply company policies and procedures
- Be hospitable at all times to both team members and customers
- Have good customer service and work independently in absence of supervision
