The Cashier role at Sodexo is a full-time position with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, involving weekday shifts that include morning, afternoon, or evening hours. As a Cashier, you will primarily handle cash and credit transactions within the retail operations of the facility. Your main responsibility will be to accurately operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring precise processing of payments for goods or services, whether they involve cash, checks, or credit card transactions. In addition to transactional duties, you will support the retail environment by managing the setup of supplies and products, helping with cleanup duties, and assisting with closing operations. This position requires a high level of customer service, emphasizing the importance of providing consistently excellent service to every customer you interact with.

Working in this role, you will contribute significantly to the smooth and efficient retail operations on-site, ensuring customers receive timely and friendly service. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 0 to 1 year related experience
  • Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol if alcohol is served at the location, based on local city and state regulations
  • May require valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification depending on the location
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding 8 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally 50 pounds
  • Shows up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
