The Cashier role at Sodexo is a full-time position with a pay rate of $15.00 per hour, involving weekday shifts that include morning, afternoon, or evening hours. As a Cashier, you will primarily handle cash and credit transactions within the retail operations of the facility. Your main responsibility will be to accurately operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system, ensuring precise processing of payments for goods or services, whether they involve cash, checks, or credit card transactions. In addition to transactional duties, you will support the retail environment by managing the setup of supplies and products, helping with cleanup duties, and assisting with closing operations. This position requires a high level of customer service, emphasizing the importance of providing consistently excellent service to every customer you interact with.

Working in this role, you will contribute significantly to the smooth and efficient retail operations on-site, ensuring customers receive timely and friendly service. Responsibilities also include maintaining the security of cash throughout your shift and complying with all workplace policies and procedures regarding cash handling and service standards. The job involves regular movement, requiring you to stand or walk for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally lifting or moving items up to 50 pounds.
