Job Requirements
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- Must be at or over the minimum age to serve alcohol if alcohol is served at the location, based on local city and state regulations
- May require valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification depending on the location
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, sometimes exceeding 8 hours
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally 50 pounds
- Shows up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
- 0 to 1 year related experience
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Ability to operate a cash register or POS system
- If applicable, valid TIPS, TEAM, or equivalent alcohol-service certification
- Compliance with state-specific alcohol training requirements
Job Duties
- Operates a cash register or equivalent, receives payments of cash, checks, and charges from customers or employees for goods or services, making change and issuing receipts or tickets to customers
- Provides the highest quality of service to customers at all times
- Maintains proper security of cash at all times
- Performs setup duties including maintaining supplies and products
- Assists in cleanup and closing down operations
- Walks or stands for extended periods during shifts
- Lifts and moves supplies weighing up to 35 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 50 pounds
