Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year cashier experience preferred
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to stand for extended periods
- strong attention to detail
- ability to handle cash and operate point-of-sale equipment
- effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- minimum of 1 year cashier experience preferred
- ability to provide excellent customer service
- knowledge of point-of-sale systems
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- leadership ability for Head Cashier role
- basic math skills for handling transactions
- ability to train and coach others
Job Duties
- process checkout transactions accurately and efficiently
- handle return transactions and resolve associated issues
- monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area for smooth operation
- provide product and project information to customers and identify selling opportunities
- ensure compliance with policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- position and support cashiers by expediting price checks and approving transactions
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervising, coaching, and training of Front End Associates and new Cashiers
