Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- minimum one year of cashier or retail experience
- ability to stand for extended periods
- basic math proficiency
- strong interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- attention to detail and accuracy
- ability to follow company policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- Minimum one year of cashier experience preferred for Head Cashier role
- strong customer service skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to operate point of sale systems
- basic math skills

- ability to coach and train associates
Job Duties
- Provide fast, friendly, accurate and safe customer service
- process checkout and return transactions
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- proactively seek product and project knowledge to inform customers and identify selling opportunities
- follow all policies and procedures to minimize shrink
- expedite price checks
- approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- provide first level escalation for customer issues
- assist in supervising, coaching, and training front end associates
- participate in training new cashiers
- utilize tools to coach and develop cashiers
