Working primarily afternoon and evening shifts on varying days, this position demands a high level of attentiveness, customer service excellence, and physical endurance, given the expectation to walk or stand for extended periods which may exceed eight hours. Additionally, the role requires the ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds occasionally, highlighting the physical aspect of this job. Candidates who are reliable and punctual, capable of adhering to schedule commitments, will find this role rewarding.

Sodexo emphasizes employee growth by providing ongoing training, development, and advancement opportunities, making this role not just a job but a career pathway. The benefits package includes paid time off, holidays, medical, dental, and vision coverage, tuition reimbursement, 401k retirement plans, and discount programs, reflecting Sodexo's commitment to supporting the wellbeing of its employees and their families. Some locations may also offer site-specific perks such as free shift meals, uniforms, safety shoes, and transportation support.

Joining Sodexo means becoming part of a company with a purposeful mission to create a better everyday life for all. The organization nurtures a culture of inclusion, respect, and fairness, where every employee’s voice is heard, and their individuality is respected. As a Cashier, you will contribute directly to Sodexo's mission by delivering exceptional service and ensuring customers have positive experiences. This role offers the chance to develop valuable skills in customer service, cash handling, and retail operations while working for a globally respected company dedicated to ethical business practices and community enhancement.
