We are currently seeking a qualified and responsible cashier to join our team at Chicken Express. This position is vital in managing all customer transactions efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a cash register and demonstrate strong math and multitasking skills. Responsibilities include accepting various forms of payments, providing receipts, and ensuring pricing and quantities are accurate during transactions. As the first and last point of contact for guests, the cashier plays an essential role in delivering outstanding customer service. We value excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to assist customers effectively.

The cashier will also be responsible for balancing the cash register at the end of the shift, processing returns and refunds, resolving customer complaints, and helping with bagging and wrapping purchased goods to guarantee safe transport. Upselling and cross-selling opportunities when appropriate are also part of the role, contributing to the restaurant's sales goals. Candidates who are team players, capable of following instructions, and eager to provide a positive customer experience will thrive in this fast-paced environment. Prior experience in the retail or restaurant sector is advantageous but not mandatory, as on-the-job training will be provided.
