Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit an outgoing and friendly behavior
- Ability to operate front end equipment
- Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability
- Possess good communication skills and ability to take direction
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multi-task
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs for extended periods
- Must be able to push grocery carts requiring physical effort
- Requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Exhibit an outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
- Be dependable and able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have good communication skills and ability to participate in a team environment
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and stay organized
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently while ensuring complete customer satisfaction
- Handle customer cash, credit/debit payments, and change accurately
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and provide customers directions for product locations
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
- Ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
