We are currently seeking dependable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team as Cashiers, formally known within our organization as Front End Team Members. These roles are essential in ensuring that every customer interaction is seamless, positive, and efficient. As a Cashier, you will not only process transactions but also create a personalized experience for customers by engaging with them, answering their inquiries, and informing them about various products and promotions. This position may also involve responsibilities typical of sales assistants or merchandisers/stock associates, adding variety and scope to your daily tasks.

The role involves accurate and efficient processing of sales, including verifying identification where necessary, handling payments, bagging products, and promoting the company’s loyalty program. You will also participate in specialized training pertaining to wine, spirits, and beer, which will enhance your product knowledge and help you provide more valuable assistance and advice to customers. Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of advertisements and promotions is crucial to maximizing sales opportunities and improving customer engagement.

Safety and cleanliness within the store are paramount. You will be expected to comply with all applicable laws and regulations related to alcohol sales and contribute to a safe, compliant store environment. Flexibility is important as this job may require working during evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business needs. Physical demands include the ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in varying weather conditions, reflecting the dynamic nature of retail work.
