Job Requirements
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Must have a current Food Handlers card issued by the State of Texas
- Must demonstrate full knowledge of the food, beverage and dessert menu
- Must possess ability to compute mathematical calculations
- Must have ability to prioritize and organize
- Should be able to maintain concentration in a noisy and crowded environment
- Must have multi-tasking abilities
- Must have an upbeat and positive attitude
- Must have a pleasant personality
- Must be a team player
- Must be bilingual Spanish-English
- Cashiering experience preferable
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Show up ready for work in clean and full uniform at the scheduled time
- Maintain personal appearance according to restaurant grooming standards
- Obtain and count bank from management
- Greet and say goodbye to 100 percent of guests in a courteous way
- Seat guests and provide clean menus using server rotation guidelines
- Know table numbers and register tables seated to each waiter
- Maintain inventory of open or soon to be open tables
- Maintain guest wait list and quote proper waiting time when restaurant is at capacity
- Answer telephone according to script within three rings and with a smile in voice
- Take messages, to-go orders and provide information regarding operations and events
- Verify and confirm group reservations
- Process all payment methods for guest checks and return change or receipts
- Have full knowledge of menu to take to-go orders accurately
- Input, prepare and deliver complete and presentable to-go orders
- Settle all guest checks in POS system and maintain financial accountability
- Maintain complete knowledge of Aloha POS system for transactions
- Add tip amounts to all credit card transactions
- Process check-outs for tipped employees
- Fill out daily balance report correctly at day end
- Report any financial discrepancies to management
- Set up and organize workstation with supplies, forms and resources
- Pick up and return menus from holding containers
- Clean menus, dessert menus, front doors and windows
- Perform cleaning duties as assigned
- Assist team with bussing tables or other functions when necessary
- Maintain harmonious relationships with employees
- Utilize suggestive and upgrade selling on to-go orders
- Request supplies from management when needed
- Maintain cleanliness of restaurant equipment and utensils
- Follow sanitary food handling procedures
- Attend scheduled meetings and provide improvement suggestions
- Check ladies restrooms for cleanliness and supplies
- Fold enough kids menus to last throughout the day
