Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of cashier experience
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings weekends and holidays
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Basic math skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of 1 year cashier experience required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to train and coach team members
- Knowledge of point of sale systems and transaction processing
- Leadership skills and ability to handle escalations
- Basic math and problem-solving abilities
Job Duties
- Provide fast friendly accurate and safe service at checkout and self-checkout stations
- Process checkout and return transactions
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- Position cashiers to optimize service efficiency
- Expedite price checks and approve point of sale transactions and markdowns
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in coaching training and supervision of front end associates and cashiers
