Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 30 lbs
- Willingness to comply with company policies and standards
- Good communication skills
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to follow safety and sanitation guidelines

Job Duties
- Provide excellent customer service and cash handling
- Demonstrate persistence and perseverance in achieving results
- Meet expectations of internal and external customers with care and compassion
- Build and maintain positive team relationships and communicate effectively
- Enforce standards for quality, cleanliness, organization, customer service, safety, loss prevention, sanitation, and store conditions
- Meet Bottom of the Basket sales goals
- Participate in cashier training and adhere to policies including WIC, checks, liquor, and tobacco
- Follow procedures for voids, refunds, transaction cancellations, and saved transactions
- Maintain personal cashier productivity
- Ensure WIC compliance
- Maintain presentation of front end, cleanliness, organization, uniform, and personal appearance
- Perform other store duties as needed
- Engage with customers consistently and improve speed and efficiency of service
