The role of a Cashier/Checker at Mariano's is a vital position responsible for creating an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. The Cashier/Checker is also responsible for following company policies about restricted sales, coupons, loyalty offers, and ensuring that pricing discrepancies are reported timely.

In addition to transactional tasks, the role entails maintaining safety standards by adhering to food safety regulations and participating in safety programs to identify and report unsafe conditions or equipment. A strong emphasis is placed on honesty, integrity, and respect when dealing with customer and business information.
