Head Cashiers play an elevated role by overseeing cashier positioning, expediting price checks, approving sales transactions and markdowns across multiple service points such as mainline registers, Self-Checkout, Returns, Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. They also act as the first level of escalation for customer issues and support the supervision and training of other front-end staff by coaching and developing newer Cashiers.
