The position of Cashier at SNIPES is a part-time, regular employment opportunity that offers a dynamic role within the retail environment. The Cashier plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service by managing transactions efficiently at the point of sale (POS), supporting inventory management through stock replenishment, and ensuring that the store environment reflects the brand's identity. The Cashier will engage directly with customers to enhance their shopping experience by fostering positive relationships and demonstrating leadership in sales. They will actively drive sales performance by meeting or exceeding specific goals such as sales targets, hourly productivity, average dollar sale, units per transaction, and conversion rates. Additionally, the role involves participation in sales incentive programs and contests to contribute to the store's overall achievements. The Cashier must be knowledgeable about current sales promotions, capable of handling multiple customers simultaneously, and able to print merchandise tags efficiently. Maintaining control over merchandise, managing the cash wrap daily, and answering telephone calls in a professional manner are other essential responsibilities. This role supports the store management team, human resources, district managers, and asset protection to ensure a smooth retail operation.

SNIPES looks for candidates who are at least 18 years old, with prior retail experience considered a plus.
