The position available is a Cashier role within the Food and Beverage department, reporting directly to the Director of Food and Beverage. This role is critical in delivering excellent customer service by efficiently handling transactions and ensuring a pleasant guest experience during live events. The Cashier will be responsible for setting up concession stands, processing customer orders and payments, serving food timely, and maintaining cleanliness and organization at the concession site. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, customer service capabilities, and familiarity with cash-handling procedures are essential for success in this role. Candidates should be prepared to work flexible and sometimes irregular hours based on event schedules. The role is situated at the Sames Auto Arena, and the company is committed to providing equal opportunity to all candidates. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED preferred
  • Must have attention to detail
  • Must have good oral and written communication skills
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide
  • Must have strong customer service skills
  • Must have good organizational skills
  • Must have basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
  • Must be able to pass credit background check
  • Must be able to work flexible hours, irregular hours may exist
  • Must be 18+ years to apply

Job Duties

  • Set up concession stand prior to opening with condiments, napkins, utensils, etc
  • Take customer orders and communicate them to the kitchen
  • Operate cash register which includes punching in orders, taking cash/credit cards and giving customer appropriate change
  • Organize and serve customers with food ordered in a timely manner
  • Establish and maintain positive client/customer relationships
  • Clean and maintain concession stands
  • Perform other duties as assigned
