- Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
- Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable and cooperative manner

- Ability to work cooperatively in a high paced and sometimes stressful environment
- Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Greet, engage and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various tenders such as cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons and loyalty offers according to company policy
- Adhere to company guidelines on cash shortages, overages and restricted sale items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards and coupons
- Stay current with seasonal and special ads
- Comply with food safety regulations
- Identify and report safety issues to management
- Inspect equipment and notify about repairs
- Create a welcoming environment for customers
- Follow all local, state and federal laws and company guidelines
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
- Manage conflicts reasonably and nonconfrontationally
- Act with honesty and integrity with customer and business information
- Seek assistance when resolving customer and business issues
- Provide support when interacting with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation
