Job Duties

  • Greet, engage, and assist customers actively and visibly
  • Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently through the check lane
  • Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers according to company policies
  • Control cash shortages and overages honestly and effectively
  • Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items like alcohol, tobacco, and DVDs
  • Report pricing discrepancies to the Scan Coordinator
  • Follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
