Experience in restaurant or bakery settings is considered a bonus but not mandatory, as training is provided. Responsibilities include a variety of tasks ranging from preparing and producing whipped cream cheese, scooping cream cheese, chopping vegetables, conducting inventory counts, food preparation with a focus on bagels, dishwashing, general cleaning, and delivering exceptional front-of-house customer service. Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a steady workflow to meet operational demands. This position also requires excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members alike, upholding the bakery’s standards of friendliness and professionalism. The working schedule demands flexibility, with shift start times typically between 5 - 7 AM and a requirement for weekend availability. The job offers full-time employment with competitive hourly pay starting at $13 per hour, augmented by tips which generally exceed an additional $5 per hour, and expected weekly hours ranging from 15 to 40.
