The company is actively hiring for enthusiastic and dedicated team members at its Celebration Restaurant. This role offers a unique opportunity for individuals interested in learning the craft of bagel baking and developing their expertise within the food service and bakery sectors. New hires will receive comprehensive training to master Jeff’s Bagel Run’s baking processes, customer service protocols, and operational standards. Ideal candidates are disciplined, fast, and committed to delivering consistent, high-quality products every day. Experience in restaurant or bakery settings is considered a bonus but not mandatory, as training is provided. The team-oriented culture encourages collaboration and fosters an environment that values efficiency and a positive attitude as the bakery operates with a daily closing time of 2 PM.

Responsibilities include a variety of tasks ranging from preparing and producing whipped cream cheese, scooping cream cheese, chopping vegetables, conducting inventory counts, food preparation with a focus on bagels, dishwashing, general cleaning, and delivering exceptional front-of-house customer service. Candidates must be able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 50 pounds, and maintain a steady workflow to meet operational demands. This position also requires excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with customers and team members alike, upholding the bakery’s standards of friendliness and professionalism. The working schedule demands flexibility, with shift start times typically between 5 - 7 AM and a requirement for weekend availability. The job offers full-time employment with competitive hourly pay starting at $13 per hour, augmented by tips which generally exceed an additional $5 per hour, and expected weekly hours ranging from 15 to 40.

Job Duties

  • General customer service
  • Running front of house as a team or individually
  • Running a cash register and assisting in food prep (bagels and cream cheese)
  • Front lobby maintenance
  • Inventory counts
  • Providing assistance to the bakers when needed
  • Clean and disinfect work area
  • Set-up and break-down work station
  • Follow and ensure compliance with sanitation and cleaning procedures
  • Responsible for opening store on time
  • Able to close the entire bakery
  • Ensure that all equipment is clean and sanitized
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment
  • Shifts may start anywhere from 5-7am
  • Weekend availability required
