As a Cashier at Earth Fare, you will serve as a critical front-line team member responsible for delivering a friendly and efficient shopping experience. Handling transactions quickly and accurately, you play a key role in managing the flow of customers while creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages repeat visits. Collaboration is essential in this role, as Cashiers work closely with team members and managers across departments to provide customer service that exceeds expectations. Beyond managing transactions, you will help maintain the cleanliness and attractiveness of the front-end station and surrounding merchandising areas. Physical demands include the ability to lift and maneuver heavy loads, stand for extended periods, and perform various physical activities such as bending, reaching, and kneeling. Working conditions may include exposure to cold temperatures, common in grocery store freezer and refrigerated areas.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

- Collaborate with other team members and managers across departments to ensure customers receive the answers and service they need
- Maintain a clean and attractive front-end environment including the cashier station and surrounding merchandising areas
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing questions and offering assistance
- Operate cash registers and handle cash transactions accurately
- Ensure compliance with store policies and procedures
- Support overall store operations through teamwork and communication
