The Cashier plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and efficient store operations by managing point of sale (POS) transactions, assisting with stock replenishment, and maintaining the store’s overall appearance and brand standards. Beyond routine cashier duties, this position demands leadership in driving sales and meeting or exceeding performance goals such as sales targets, hourly productivity, average dollar sales, and customer engagement metrics. SNIPES places a strong emphasis on using selling skills and exceptional customer service standards learned through their training programs to build lasting relationships with customers. The role also involves active participation in store contests, promotions, and incentive programs, contributing to the success of the store’s financial and customer service objectives. Job Duties

  • Demonstrate leadership in driving sales and profitability by achieving or exceeding all established store and individual goals
  • Achieve or exceed all established goals including sales, hourly productivity average dollar sale, units per transaction, conversion, charge accounts and contests, and other brand specific KPIs
  • Have a complete working knowledge and use of selling skills and customer service standards as set forth in Company training programs
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through a friendly attitude and excellent customer service
  • Actively participate in all contests, promotions, and sales incentive programs and contribute to stores achievements
  • Meet company standards for appearance, performance, knowledge and personal grooming
  • Maintain an awareness of all sales promotions and effectively handle multiple customers and projects
  • Communicate customer merchandise needs with Store Management
  • Ensure consistent control of merchandise and maintain cash wrap daily
  • Demonstrate professionalism when dealing with customers and answer the telephone professionally
