The role available is a frontline position as a Cashier/Checker, responsible for providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming environment that encourages customers to return. Job Duties
- Be visible and actively greet customers
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Handle various payment methods including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, WIC, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, overages, and restricted sales items
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for gift cards, postage stamps, and coupons
- Stay current with seasonal and special promotions
- Comply with food safety regulations and safety procedures
- Identify unsafe conditions and notify management
- Maintain equipment through preventive maintenance
- Provide excellent customer service by answering product questions
- Work cooperatively in a fast-paced environment
