Additionally, Cashiers have opportunities to extend their skills by serving as sales assistants or merchandisers/stock associates, contributing to inventory management and store upkeep. Engaging with customers to build relationships and informing them about products and services is a vital aspect of this role, along with participating in specialized training for wine, spirits, and beer to enhance product knowledge.

Cashiers are expected to maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness throughout the store, ensuring compliance with all laws and regulations related to alcohol sales. This role demands physical stamina as team members are on their feet for extended periods, capable of lifting substantial weight, and comfortable working in varying weather conditions.
