The role of Cashier/Checker at King Soopers is integral to the customer experience. A Cashier/Checker is responsible for processing transactions swiftly and accurately using King Soopers’ Point of Sale (POS) system while handling various payment methods, including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons. Job Requirements

  • Customer service experience
  • Effective communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
  • Prior experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk is desired
  • Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced and sometimes stressful environment
  • Ability to manage conflict reasonably and cooperatively
  • Ability to act with honesty and integrity
  • Ability to follow directions and seek assistance when necessary
  • Ability to provide support and assistance to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
