Job Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- basic math skills
- excellent computer skills and competency in PDI Enterprise POS
- excellent customer service skills
- excellent interpersonal skills
- ability to learn simple tasks quickly and work with little or no supervision
- food handlers permit if required by store or county
- ability to communicate verbally and in writing in English
- have open availability to work all shifts as needed at home store and other district stores

Job Duties
- Take measures to preserve the safety of employees and others in the work location
- operate POS systems including cash register and fuel console accurately
- enter all transactions into the register and manage payments
- conduct service transactions such as credit card, coupon redemption, alcohol, tobacco, lottery sales, and fast-food sales
- check identification for age-restricted products
- actively participate in sales promotions and campaigns
- practice suggestive selling and build customer relations
- adhere to local, state, and federal laws affecting store operations
- maintain personal appearance and wear company uniform and name tag
- prepare hot food items and maintain condiment bar
- ensure store cleanliness inside and out
- sweep and mop floors
- clean fuels delivery area and pump stations
- regularly restock and check restroom supplies
- clean store counters, equipment, and merchandise displays
- receive and stock product deliveries using proper lifting techniques
- check freshness and rotate perishable products
- follow robbery and violence prevention policies
- back up cashier during barista shifts
- brew fresh coffee regularly
- perform deep cleaning during night shifts
- prepare for morning rush by brewing coffee and restocking creamer machine
