The role of Cashier and Head Cashier is pivotal within our Front End team, involving direct interaction with customers while executing checkout and return transactions efficiently and accurately. Cashiers are the face of the company at the point of sale, ensuring that every customer receives friendly, prompt, and reliable service. Beyond processing sales, Cashiers actively engage with customers to share product information, answer inquiries, and identify potential upselling opportunities, enhancing service quality and contributing to the store's performance.
Head Cashiers take on an elevated responsibility, not only supporting their peers by managing price checks and approving complex transactions but also serving as a first point of contact for customer escalations. They play a key supervisory role by coaching and training new and existing Front End Associates, utilizing various tools and techniques to develop their capabilities effectively. This position requires leadership skills, a good understanding of store policies on shrink control, and the ability to foster a positive customer service atmosphere. Job Requirements
