We are currently seeking a Head Cashier to join our Front End team. This position is pivotal in delivering fast, friendly, accurate, and safe service to our customers at checkout. The Head Cashier not only processes transactions but also supervises and supports Cashiers to ensure efficiency and adherence to store policies. Responsibilities include managing price checks, approving sales transactions and markdowns, and overseeing various service areas such as Self-Checkout, Returns, the Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. The Head Cashier acts as the first escalation point for customer issues and plays an essential role in coaching and training new Cashiers to maintain high standards of service. Candidates should have at least one year of experience in cashiering, demonstrating their ability to handle multiple tasks while providing excellent customer service. Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Process checkout and return transactions
  • monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
  • position and support Cashiers by expediting price checks
  • approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns
  • provide first level escalation for customer issues
  • assist in the supervision, coaching, and training of Front End Associates
  • participate in training new Cashiers and utilize coaching tools
