Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- high school diploma or equivalent
- at least 1 year of cashier experience preferred for head cashier positions

- ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- leadership and coaching skills for head cashier roles
- basic math skills
- knowledge of point of sale systems
Job Duties
- process checkout transactions accurately and efficiently
- handle customer returns and exchanges
- monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- provide friendly and professional customer service
- support and coach new Cashiers
- expedite price checks and approve markdowns as a Head Cashier
- manage escalated customer issues
- participate in training and development of front-end associates
- ensure compliance with policies to minimize shrink
