The Cashier role at Sodexo located at Renown Regional Medical Center is a full-time position offering a pay rate of $18.00 per hour. This role plays a vital part in providing excellent customer service, acting as the welcoming face for customers by handling transactions efficiently and accurately. The position requires the operation of cash registers and POS systems to complete sales of food, goods, and services, ensuring customers have a pleasant and smooth checkout experience. In addition to transactional duties, cashiers may assist with the overall operations by setting up areas, maintaining supplies, and supporting cleanup activities as needed. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 1 year of related experience is beneficial
  • Ability to operate cash register and POS systems
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work varying shifts including days and hours with open availability preferred
  • Ability to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  • Punctual and reliable attendance

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Accurately operate the cash register/POS and complete transactions for food, goods or services
  • Provide support to the operation including setup, maintaining supplies and products, and assisting in cleanup
  • Perform non-routine cash functions as required
  • Attend work and show up for scheduled shifts on time with satisfactory regularity
  • Adhere to all client and company policies and procedures
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with other duties as assigned depending on business needs and client requirements
