The role available is for a Head Cashier, a pivotal position within the Front End team responsible for supervising cashier operations and supporting cashier staff. Head Cashiers are tasked with managing daily checkout activities, including expediting price checks, approving point of sale transactions, markdowns, as well as overseeing returns and service desks such as the Pro Desk, Special Services, and Tool Rental. This position requires a proactive approach to customer service, including resolving customer issues and providing first-level escalation. Additionally, the Head Cashier contributes significantly to the training and development of other cashiers, ensuring team members are knowledgeable, efficient, and adhere to company policies to minimize shrink. This is a customer-facing role that demands friendliness, accuracy, speed, and maintaining a safe checkout environment while promoting upselling opportunities through product knowledge. Job Duties
- process checkout and return transactions

- assist in supervision, coaching and training of other front end associates
- participate in training new cashiers and utilize available tools to coach and develop other cashiers
