Job Requirements
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
- 1 or more years of cashier experience
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Must follow company policies and procedures strictly
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year cashier experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and support a team
- Knowledge of point of sale systems
- Basic math skills for transaction handling
- Ability to resolve customer complaints effectively
- Experience in coaching or training personnel is a plus
Job Duties
- Process checkout and return transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain the Self-Checkout area
- Provide product and project information to customers and identify selling opportunities
- Minimize shrink by following all company policies and procedures
- Position Cashiers and expedite price checks
- Approve Point of Sale transactions and markdowns across various service registers
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in supervision, coaching, and training of Front End Associates
- Participate in training new Cashiers and utilize tools to coach and develop staff
