Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year cashier experience
- Basic proficiency with point of sale technology
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
Job Qualifications
- At least one year of cashier experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to lead and coach others
- Knowledge of point of sale systems
- Ability to handle customer escalations calmly and effectively
- Basic math skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced retail environment
Job Duties
- Process checkout transactions accurately and efficiently
- Monitor and maintain the self-checkout area
- Expedite price checks and approve point of sale transactions
- Approve markdowns at mainline registers, returns, special services, and tool rental
- Provide first level escalation for customer issues
- Assist in training and coaching front end associates
- Support cashier positioning and workflow
