Job Duties
- Greet, engage, and assist customers actively
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using POS system
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit/debit cards, SNAP EBT, WIC, rain checks, coupons, and loyalty offers
- Adhere to company policies on cash shortages, restricted sale items, and checkout procedures
- Report pricing discrepancies and follow policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Comply with food safety regulations and reinforce safety programs
- Maintain a welcoming environment by answering customer questions and supporting diverse customer needs
- Identify unsafe conditions, perform preventive maintenance inspections, and notify management of issues
- Manage conflict in a reasonable and nonconfrontational manner
- Uphold honesty and integrity with customer and business information
