- Ability to work cooperatively under pressure

- Experience as a Bagger or Courtesy Clerk preferred
Job Duties
- Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service
- Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages customers to return
- Demonstrate core company values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety
- Process customer transactions quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle various tenders including cash, checks, credit, debit, SNAP EBT, and coupons according to company policy
- Adhere to guidelines on restricted sale items and control loss effectively
- Reinforce safety programs and report unsafe conditions or accidents
- Provide product information and answer customer questions
- Follow established policies for postage stamps, gift cards, and coupons
- Practice preventive maintenance and notify management of equipment issues
- Manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
- Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults
- Adhere to all local, state, federal laws, and company guidelines
