Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as register calculator scanner
- Be dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights weekends and holidays
- Good communication skills
- Ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask prioritize and stay organized
- Must lift carry products up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches for distances up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
- Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
- Requires strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
- Ability to read write and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer cash credit debit payments and change accurately
- Provide friendly and prompt customer service
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Maintain clean and orderly checkout areas
- Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves facing and dusting
- Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
