Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- Be dependable and reliable with the ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Must lift/carry products up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches for distances up to 3 feet without mechanical assistance
- Must move grocery carts horizontally requiring force up to 35 lbs for distances up to 4 feet
- Have good communication skills and the ability to take constructive criticism
- Ability to read, write and count
- Must be able to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- Use both hands for physical tasks
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age

- Show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
- Ability to operate front end equipment such as registers, calculators, and scanners
- Demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
- Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately, and efficiently
- Handle cash, credit/debit payments and provide correct change
- Assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- Follow all front end procedures including register operation and maintenance
- Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, store events, and seminars
- Ensure checkout areas are clean, orderly, and well-maintained
