Job Requirements
- Must lift/carry product weighing up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically, from 36 to 24 inches, for distance up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without assistance
- must use both hands to move grocery carts horizontally requiring a force up to 35 lbs for up to 50 hours
- able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
- high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years cashiering experience
- good communication skills
- ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask
- proficient in cash handling
- positive and friendly demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- demonstrate outgoing and friendly behavior
- positive attitude and ability to interact with customers
- ability to operate front end equipment including registers, calculators and scanners
- dependable and reliable with flexible schedule availability including nights, weekends and holidays
- good communication skills
- able to accept direction and constructive criticism
- capable of working in a team environment
- ability to perform repetitious activities
- able to multitask, prioritize and stay organized
- strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
- proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly, accurately and efficiently
- ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
- handle customer cash, credit/debit payments and change accurately
- assist customers by providing information and resolving complaints
- follow all front end procedures
- assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting as needed
- maintain knowledge of weekly ad items, store events and seminars
- maintain excellent communication with front end manager and Head Cashier
- ensure checkout areas are clean and orderly at all times
- execute other related duties as assigned
