Job Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods, walk in the store, and perform physical activities like bending, stooping, and kneeling
- Fine finger and manual dexterity with eye-hand-foot coordination
- Physical ability to handle merchandise and carry boxes
- Willingness to work varied hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Availability on weekdays 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM and open availability on Saturdays
Job Qualifications
- Ability to engage with guests providing outstanding retail sales and service
- Experience in retail environments handling transactions and cash management
- Strong communication skills with customers and team members
- Accuracy in reading, counting, and writing for precise transactions
- Ability to operate all necessary equipment for the position
Job Duties
- Engage with guests through friendly conversations and eye contact
- Scan grocery items, process sales, and handle monetary transactions accurately and efficiently
- Bag items thoughtfully to ensure product care
- Maintain awareness of current promotions and assist guests accordingly
- Keep register station neat and well-stocked with supplies
- Communicate guest requests to Guest Services leadership
- Ensure quality and quantity standards are met especially during peak times
- Support team efforts and perform additional duties as needed
- Maintain regular and timely attendance and coordinate absences appropriately
