Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous cashier or customer service experience preferred
Basic mathematical proficiency
Ability to operate cash registers and POS systems
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail and reliability

Job Qualifications

Proven experience as a cashier or in a similar customer service role
Strong verbal communication skills and a friendly demeanor
Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash accurately
Ability to operate a cash register and handle various payment methods
Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems is preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in transactions

Job Duties

Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently at the cash register
Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers warmly and addressing their needs and inquiries
Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions with care and attention to detail
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and surrounding workspace
Assist in inventory management by restocking shelves and reporting low stock levels to management
Resolve customer issues and complaints with patience and professionalism
