Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Show outgoing and friendly behavior
Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator and scanner
Be dependable and reliable with ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
Have good communication skills
Ability to perform repetitious activities and multitask
Must lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs
Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling and math skills

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly and accurately
Handle customer cash, credit and debit payments
Provide information and resolve customer complaints
Assist with stocking shelves, facing and dusting
Maintain checkout areas clean and orderly
Stay knowledgeable about weekly ads, product locations and store events
Communicate efficiently with front end manager and Head Cashier
