Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Maintain outgoing friendly behavior and positive attitude
Operate front end equipment including register calculator and scanner
Be dependable and reliable with flexible availability including nights weekends and holidays
Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to take direction and constructive criticism
Perform repetitious activities and multitask effectively
Lift and carry products up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically for short distances
Use both hands to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
Exhibit strong attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling and mathematical skills
Ability to read write and count

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Exhibit outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
Ability to operate front end equipment including register calculator and scanner
Demonstrate good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Ability to multitask prioritize and stay organized

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly and accurately ensuring customer satisfaction
Handle cash credit and debit payments and provide correct change
Assist customers by providing product information and resolving complaints
Follow front end procedures including stocking shelves facing and dusting
Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items product locations store events and announcements
Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
Keep checkout areas clean orderly and well maintained
