Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Ability to operate front end equipment including register calculator and scanner
Dependable and reliable with flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
Ability to lift carry up to 30 lbs horizontally and vertically without mechanical assistance
Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in cash handling and math skills

Job Duties

Process customer orders quickly accurately and efficiently
Ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt friendly service
Accurately handle customer cash credit debit payments and change
Provide product information and resolve customer complaints
Follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves facing and dusting
Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and direct customers to product locations
Keep checkout areas clean orderly and maintain communication with managers
