Job Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age
Have a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
Ability to operate front end equipment such as register, calculator, and scanner
Be dependable and reliable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
Have good communication skills and ability to take direction and constructive criticism
Be able to perform repetitious activities, multitask, prioritize, and stay organized
Must lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs for short distances
Must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs
Require strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers
Proficient in cash handling and mathematical skills
Ability to read, write, and count

Job Qualifications

Be at least 18 years of age

Job Duties

Greet customers and process their orders quickly and accurately
Handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide correct change
Assist customers by answering questions and resolving complaints
Follow front end procedures and assist with stocking, facing, and dusting shelves
Maintain knowledge of weekly ad items and store events
Keep checkout areas clean and orderly at all times
Communicate effectively with front end manager and Head Cashier
