Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- ServSafe certification with minimum score of 75 percent
- basic computer and POS system skills
- ability to stand, walk, kneel, sit or stoop for extended periods
- ability to carry, push or pull 35 pounds
- good balance
- normal or corrected hearing and vision
- ability to communicate clearly and coherently
- ability to work variable shifts
- comply with DCH Health System policies and procedures
Job Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- able to operate computer and point of sale terminal
- ServSafe certificate with minimum score of 75 percent
- normal vision, hearing, written and oral communication skills
- able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English
- ability to interpret and follow oral and written instructions
Job Duties
- Receives change fund
- performs cashier duties
- turns funds and change fund into responsible supervisor at end of shift
- completes required records and receipts
- enters food items into POS system
- collects payments and makes change
- gives customers receipts
- ensures cash and sales records are properly secured
- assists with simple food preparation and baking
- set up and service of foods
- maintains cleanliness of work area and dining room
- assists with cleaning assigned areas
- may work variable shifts
- adheres to all DCH Health System policies and procedures
- performs all other assigned duties
