Job Requirements

be at least 18 years of age
have a high school diploma or equivalent
have 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
show outgoing and friendly behavior and a positive attitude
ability to operate front end equipment including register calculator scanner
be dependable and reliable
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
good communication skills and ability to take direction and participate in a team environment
ability to perform repetitious activities multitask prioritize and stay organized
must lift and carry products weighing up to 30 lbs from 36 inches to 24 inches for distance up to 3 feet for up to 50 hours without mechanical assistance
must use both hands to move grocery carts requiring force up to 35 lbs for distance up to 4 feet for up to 50 hours
require strong attention to detail and proficiency with cash handling mathematical skills and ability to read write and count

Job Qualifications

high school diploma or equivalent
1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude
ability to operate front end equipment such as register calculator scanner
good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
ability to perform repetitive tasks multitask prioritize and stay organized
strong attention to detail and proficiency with numbers including cash handling and mathematical skills

Job Duties

process customer orders quickly accurately and efficiently
ensure complete customer satisfaction through prompt and friendly service
handle customer cash credit and debit payments and change accurately
assist customers by providing information and resolving their complaints
follow all front end procedures and assist with stocking shelves facing and dusting
maintain knowledge of weekly ad items product locations and upcoming events or seminars
ensure checkout areas are properly maintained in a clean and orderly condition
