Job Requirements

Must obtain State Food Handler certification within 60 days of hire
ability to stand for extended periods
ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds
willingness to work variable schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
must have basic math skills to handle cash and make change
must be able to maintain cleanliness and follow health and safety protocols

reason with common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved instructions
ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
less than high school education, GED or high school degree preferred
ability to communicate positively and professionally

Job Duties

Greets customers with a positive and friendly attitude
enters orders into POS system, uses suggestive selling of food products to customers, receives payment (cash and credit card), makes change and maintains cash drawer
presents orders to guests and ensures accuracy of order
assists with ordering filling as needed
reads monitor to identify products that need to be prepared
notifies cook of special orders, shortages and needs
minor food preparation, stocking of supplies, cleaning of dining room tables and restrooms, sweeping, mopping, discarding of trash and filling ice bins
sets up workstations with all needed ingredients and equipment as needed
communicates with customers, team members and managers in a positive and professional manner
maintains cleanliness on the service counter and order presentation counter
maintains cleanliness, organization, and rotation of the display cooler
observes health and sanitation guidelines and follows established procedures to meet high standards of cleanliness, health & safety protocols
maintains a clean and sanitary workstation and takes ownership of area
looks for opportunities to assist fellow team members in an enthusiastic manner
other duties as assigned
must be willing to work variable schedules. Evenings, weekends, holidays
