Job Requirements
- high school diploma or equivalent preferred
- no prior cashier experience required but beneficial
- ability to stand for long periods
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- legally authorized to work in the United States
Job Qualifications
- friendly and dependable with good communication skills
- basic math skills to handle cash transactions
- ability to operate cash register systems
- customer service experience preferred

- ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently
Job Duties
- operate a cash register accurately and efficiently
- collect money, checks, electronic payments, and coupons from guests
- make correct change and assure security of the cash drawer
- scan or ring items accurately
- identify and key in department numbers, produce items, UPC numbers, and weights for items that do not scan
- assist guests with locating merchandise
- answer guest questions and concerns
- assist with bagging guest merchandise carefully
