Job Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age
- have a high school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of recent cashiering experience
- ability to operate front end equipment including register, calculator, scanner
- reliable and dependable
- able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- good communication skills
- able to take direction and constructive criticism
- able to perform repetitious activities
- able to multitask and stay organized
- able to lift/carry up to 30 lbs
- able to move grocery carts requiring up to 35 lbs of force
- strong attention to detail
- proficiency with cash handling and mathematical skills
- ability to read, write and count

Job Duties
- Process customer orders quickly and accurately
- handle cash, credit/debit payments, and provide correct change
- deliver prompt and friendly customer service
- provide product information and resolve customer complaints
- assist with stocking shelves, facing, and dusting
- maintain checkout areas in a clean and orderly condition
- communicate effectively with front end manager and head cashier
