Job Duties

Engage customers in friendly conversation while making eye contact and smiling
proactively offer additional assistance, thank customers for shopping at Wegmans
efficiently and accurately scan items and process payments
properly bag items to ensure products arrive at their destination in good condition
manage traffic flow in self-checkout area and direct customers to available lanes
ensure self-checkout lanes are in good working order and assist customers with system troubleshooting
maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked work space
