Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- 2+ years in a customer service role
- experience handling cash and conducting monetary transactions
- parking industry experience preferred but not required
- previous experience working in outdoor and extreme weather conditions preferred
- flexible event-based schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to lift, push and pull approximately 25-30 pounds
- able to work outside in varying weather conditions
- able to continuously stand for extended periods and walk between cashier posts
- must pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen
Job Qualifications
- Ability to learn and confidently use mobile POS devices and applications
- strong accuracy and attention to detail in handling payments and recording transactions
- professionalism and strong customer service skills in fast-paced, high-volume environments
- clear verbal communication skills
- reliable, punctual, and adaptable to changing event demands
- previous event, hospitality, or retail experience preferred
- bilingual abilities are a plus
Job Duties
- Process parking transactions quickly and accurately using mobile POS devices
- handle cash, credit/debit cards, and approved digital wallet payments in compliance with company procedures
- balance and reconcile a cash drawer/shift bank
- complete receipts and discrepancy logs with accuracy
- deliver professional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and escalating issues as needed
- assist with event traffic flow including setting up cones/signage and directing guests
- ensure devices are charged, logged in/out properly, and report connectivity or hardware issues
- follow cash-handling and audit procedures to prevent loss and ensure compliance
- maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all safety and incident-reporting rules
- perform other duties as assigned to support smooth event operations
